So, today I traveled off of Marlboro College Island in search of a flying hamburger. While I was not able to locate that hamburger (yet), I did come across a gigantic ladybug which I took a picture of myself next to. Not sure where to locate the hamburger but will keep looking!
This is a great dramatic shot! Love the bug - will have to see if Daedalus can find something like that as well. I have not done all the exploration assignments yet but there seems to be a great diversity of established locales. I almost wish I had a Fodor's guide or something to locate the important spots and the things "not to be missed"
ReplyDeleteI love this picture! It reminds me of the "Honey I shrunk the Kids" attraction at Walt Disney World. I have not been able to locate the hamburger yet either, I am also still looking for it. Where did you find the lady bug? There are so many things to discover in Jokaydia it is amazing how creative the people in that virtual world are, I wish I could be as creative as the other builders there.
ReplyDeleteColleen the hamburger does not apparently exist - Jane mentioned it was an old assignment. There is a large hot dog with fries however if you go over to the game block display in the field outside the portfolio circle - when Marlboro is available.
ReplyDeleteI found this ladybug too! I am excited to see that someone else found the island. This section made me think of interesting ways that students could present the results of their learning.
